Bought Nexon Ev Empowered plus Long Range in Oct 2023. 26000kms done so far. The vehicle is amazing for fixes km daily commutes and is not for long trips. Taking about the real range of the vehicle, it's about 270kms with AC on highways and goes to 290km-300km without Ac. Performance of the vehicle is amazing and is very quick with acceleration and overtakes. It is ever faster than the Diesel and Petrol cars twice it's price. Braking of the car is also great and it comes with all 4 disc brakes. Taking about the safety and build quality, it comes with all features such as abs ebd and 6 airbags and the car feels very heavy. Comfort of the vehicle is good, Ac is very good and ventilated seats also works amazing in hot weather. Music system is from JBL and it also sounds amazing. It comes with 9 speaker JBL system with an amazingly huge touchscreen. The service cost as any other EV is very less which include Coolant topup, alignments of wheels and software update with typically cost around 1-1.5k in total. Negatives of the vehicle includes the disappointment from the range of vehicle. Company claims a range of 400+ km whereas it barely touches 300km in real life . The second point where the car disappoints is the fit and finish quality of the vehicle. It has got uneven panel gaps both in interior as well as in exterior of the vehicle. The poor fit and finish is unacceptable for the premium price paid for the vehicle when vehicles even half of it's price provide better fit and finish. Positives on the other hand includes Best in class Safety, Good Features , Amazing performance and futuristic design of the vehicle . People who prefer long distance road trips should avoid this vehicle and people who have fixed Km travel of daily avg of 200km should definitely go for this vehicle as it comes out to be very economical vehicle.
