  Yes, you need to get the fuel type changed on your RC from petrol/diesel to CNG. This process may take time. But you can use the vehicle legally only after getting your documents officially changed.   Datsun Go Plus is offered with a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine. This engine comes mated to either a 5-speed MT or a CVT. While it produces 68PS when paired to the manual gearbox, it goes up to 77PS in case of the CVT option. As per its specifications, it is a city-centric micro MPV and not recommended for hilly terrains. Also, it is heavy in weight as compared to Maruti Swift. It order to climb at hilly terrains, you need to keep the car at 2st or 2nd gear to get the desired output.
