How is the performance of Maruti Swift 2014-2021?

Maruti Swift comes in both diesel and petrol variants. The petrol variants come equipped with 1.2-litre K Series VVT(variable valve timing) engine churning out a maximum power output of 86bhp at 6000rpm and a torque output of 114Nm at 4000rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, which is smooth and provides you a hassle-free gear shift. The engine revs early so to perform optimum on busy streets, in mid-ranges you feel the refinement of the engine and the bumpy mid-ranges give you all the driving pleasure. The 1.2-litre mill let you go to the 5000rpm mark easily but it gets a little jerky once it reaches 5500rpm mark. The petrol version of the car is a fun to ride for sure. The diesel version of the car features the famous 1.3-litre DDiS engine, which comes mated to a fixed geometry turbo. The engine has been tuned to achieve maximum fuel efficiency rather than power, it belts out peak power output of 74bhp at 4000rpm and peak torque of 190Nm at 2000rpm. There is a slight lag at low ranges but once you pass it, the engine responses good, however the frugal nature of the engine makes it less exciting than the older version at mid-ranges though it doesn't make much difference. The car can attain a maximum speed of 169kmph, which is impressive.
