The safest car on road.

Volvo has always been known for its industry-leading safety standards and it won't be a surprise to say that you would walk away from a deadly accident without a scratch, that's how safe this car is. Lots of time while reviewing a car people forget about the safety of the car and all they think is how fast or how feature packed the car is. Well for those people I would like to say that this car is fast enough, probably... Ok, Volvo XC60 is not a driver's car but you can still have fun in it and be safe enough to see a better day. The 2018 Volvo is offered in only one variant in India that is the top of the line "D5 Inscription" it is a diesel Motor and produces about 235 bhp of power which is more than it's German rivals. If you're going to buy a 72lakh luxury SUV you won't think about it's mileage would you? But still volvo being more towards economy over performance, it gives about 10 to 11 kmpl of mileage which is compaired to it's German rivals slightly better. The D5 Inscription comes with air suspension as standard, so you get four modes namely Eco, Comfort, Off Road and Dynamic. Air suspension is a must at this price point as you would get that great comfort on Indian roads as your car would just glide over bumps, so you must ask for it as other cars in this segment don't get it as a standard. Volvo is all about luxury, comfort and safety with a pinch of a performance and a great feature packed interior which is superior in it's class. All that is holding this beast from rulling the Indian street is it's brand. No doubt it is the best suv in it's segment all that it lacks is flexibility in it's variants and a unestablished brand in India. But that dosen't mean not to consider it, Volvo XC60 is a great car and I would say just go ahead and buy it blindfolded and I bet you won't be disappointed with your decision. Thanks for reading my review. Cons: The cabin would have looked more luxurious if blond interior would have been an option. Volvo as a car brand is not much established. A faster gearbox would have made it a perfect car. Pros:   Volvo XC60 is the WORLD CAR OF THE YEAR 2018.   It has industry leading safety features. Personally, it is the best looking in it's class. Interior is superior in it's class.   Offers more than it's rivals at the same price.
