Tell me engine specifications of Maruti Grand Vitara?
Maruti Grand Vitara will be powered by a 1.6-litre MultiJet aka DDiS 320 that sports the VGT along with EGR system. This greener diesel version delivers a 120 PS at 3750 rpm and the segment’s best 320 Nm of torque at 1750 rpm. The motor will be further mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, the petrol mill gets a ‘M16’ 1.6-litre naturally aspired engine churning out a max power of 120 PS @ 6000 rpm and 156 Nm of peak torque at 4400 rpm. Also, the allgrip AWD technology might debut with the Vitara. Four modes of the 4x4 version are, the Auto, Snow, Sport and the Lock.
