The Mahindra Thar is certainly a cutting edge off roader with powerful engines but it also offers an attractive design for its price. Nevertheless, the fuel economy is not very good, it provides a rough ride on bumpy roads due to independent suspension all around which limits practicality with two doors and small boot as well as there are also no automatic transmissions available for models. Safety ratings are also unknown. The value offered by the Thar is very impressive for those who want an off roading adventure and also love its design. Nevertheless, for regular trips or certain specific preferences, other options might be more appropriate.
