I bought this car in 2016 and the vehicle has run 50000kms, after that it started giving trouble. There was a problem with dip and dim switch which cost 8000 and then after a month while driving in the hilly region suddenly smoke started coming out, after checking with service person he confirmed that clutch plates had been worn out and it will charge 60000 to replace as flywheel also need to be replaced.

Bought Lodgy in the year 2015, the car was good and running well. I have done the services regularly too. Once the warranty given by Renault got over all faults started and listed by the mechanic. I have driven more than 10 cars but didn't expect this worst quality from Renault. So bad quality. The headlight switch of my car stopped working and when I went to the service center they charged me Rs9000 just to change the switch. This is too much. First, the switch shouldn't get damaged. I am seeing this problem for the first time and the charges. My car is just 4months old than the expiry of the warranty. The mechanic has quoted a service cost of Rs50000+.

The best car in the segment..good Mileage, handling, comfortable ride for 8 people...pick up is great even with full passenger load. Ground clearance bit lower for the car of this size. Features are good, but interior quality not up to the standard for this price, Renault service needs improvement. Overall a good practical car.

The Best car in this category... mileage 19+ kmpl.. Comfortable & huge boot space. Very low maintenance cost.. Paid servicing done last week for only 3800/-.. Comfort is like Innova.. 110ps gives more power to the car.. Love to drive this car because of its great pick-up, mileage and the features provided by Renault..

Renault introduced the Lodgy MPV back in the year 2015. The car mainly serves the large family as it's designed as a seven-seater MPV. It competes against the rivals such as Honda Mobilio and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga in the Indian car market. Renault as a French manufacturer made the vehicle a contemporary one. Many customers prefer to buy Lodgy over other MPVs because it's more affordable and convenient for the people. So, it?s been over a year since I have been driving the Renault Lodgy. As I am having a big family and we belong to a middle class, I made the choice to buy a Multi-purpose vehicle. Seeing other MPVs with higher price tags, I preferred to buy Renault Lodgy. My family criticized my decision on buying this car for so many reasons. Now let me tell you something about what they feel about this car. On the outside, Renault Lodgy gets the boxy and unpleasing styling which may be not liked by all including many in my family. The road presence is also average. However, it has robust build and construction and it looks van-like. The side profile gets 15-inch wheels that seem to be quite small when you are riding the vehicle as big as Lodgy. At the back, Renault Lodgy gets its design from a spaceship-like tail light. It doesn't get projector headlamps or even the LED lighting to add any wow factor in it. Step inside the car, you will not notice noting unique or amazing. Everything is just plain and boring, even the material used inside is of low quality. It resembles the Duster in many parts. The features included in the list are 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit that comes with a 4-speaker sound system for better entertainment. In terms of safety though, Renault Lodgy gets dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, front fog lamps and a rear camera. But on the negative note, Renault lacks many of the safety aspects. The car don?t have any six airbags variant, while ABS is also not standard. In terms of specifications, Lodgy gets the diesel mill with two states of tune. The 1.5L K9K engine delivers 85PS/200Nm and 110PS/245Nm. Overall, as per my understanding, Renault Lodgy is the ideal people movers with few faults. In my opinion, it?s good for the middle-class people with big families. Its service network is pathetic, while the after sales services are also average. I would recommend newly launched Ertiga instead.

Hi, I have been using The Renault Lodgy 7seater RXZ in Bengaluru from past 4 years. I have no regrets what so ever by my choice. It's a decent looking MPV, spacious, proven engine and satisfactory service backup. I like their " My Renault App " too.

Renault Lodgy is a good vehicle for family and friends but only the problem is after crossing 110 km/h speed some disturbance coming inside the car. My car is only just five months old only that is the only problem I have faced till now. Renault is the best vehicle for the family but its Hyderabad service center are very worst they don't know how to do the repair on the vehicle especially in the hi-tech city, Kondapur because I am saying this thing because last time my car met with a small accident and they took 22 days in the workshop.

Its been 3 years now. I am owning a Lodgy RxZ, 1.5 L 85ps the first launch variant, (not the Stepway). What a car? what a comfort? what a mileage? So far haven't spent an extra penny anything additional. My better has travel sickness in almost every car we had travelled except Renault Lodgy. Every drive is refreshing. Even after 8 hours of continuous travel journey isn't tiring. Its a very stable car, be it braking, steering and engine efficiency, absorbing the potholes to make the otherwise bumpy ride to a smooth ride. It has all the features of the a Innova Plus more classier and equally good as Innova in driving performance and stability (older model). I was initially hesitant to buy a newer entrant model car, but then it was already released and tested in Europe. This made me take a confident decision in choosing Lodgy and now after 3 years and I am not repenting of my choice. On highways I always get a very mileage of approximately 19 kmpl on AC. In Bangalore, it varies as the traffic is different at different times of the day. So it varied between 14-16 kmpl, which is not bad for a MUV on AC. Only issue I had was the very expensive Spare parts. Most of the parts are made of India and imported. These materials are assembled in Chennai plant. Thus you have to shell out lot of money as the import rates are in USD and import taxes are additionally charged on the automobile equipment. If the spares available/manufactured in India, then I feel this is the ideal vehicle for India for at least another 15-20 years. On most of the occasions Renault service is Good. There are a few technicians who does a real poor job and your should unlucky to get assigned to them.
