Tough competition between CIVIC and OCTAVIA .Both cars have their own pros and cons and it's up to the individual to decide which car to buy. Civic Pros - stunning looks, mileage, handling, low maintenance and reputation of Honda cars. It easily gives 14+ and 20+ mileage in city and highway respectively( i have tested myself driving from Hyderabad to Bangalore). I'm very much impressed with ground clearance, can tackle big breakers easily. Cons - infotainment system could have been better, slightly overpriced 2-3 lakhs cheaper could have been game changer for Honda. Skoda Octavia L & K 32 lakhs on road Pros- infotainment system, DSG gearbox shifts are as smooth as butter, interior fit and finish its simple but neat, powerful engine. Cons- Overpriced(L&K version), outdated side and back look common Skoda you need to revise exteriors majorly, service issues, high maintenance esp after 3-4 years, poor resale value, low ground clearance (especially front because of heavy front chassis). So overall both cars are good. I'm a big fan of both civic and Octavia. It is up to you to chose which one to go for. Any more info if u need on both cars leave msg in the comment section.

Buying experience: I would like to buy this car for sure because of ORVM. That gives me confidence during driving a car that is a good deal for me to buy this car and look that is just amazing also. Details about looks, performance etc: See first most important thing in car that is alloy wheels that looks amazing in its segment which gives superb look and space in this car that is amazing for family it also gives paddle shifters so we can go for both automatic and manual so there is no confusion to buy this premium car just go for it on highway paddle shifters are amazing with friends And there are good power and good torch too. A most convenient and comfortable car to buy with good ground clearance?? Servicing and maintenance: It's a Honda car, I don't need to say about Honda car services. my all friends are telling me that Honda cars are just amazing in service and maintenance so those who are driving Honda cars that gives good feedback so there is no confusion 90/100.  Pros and Cons:?? See first thing to buy this car for me that is outside rear view mirror (ORVM)that shows side view during driving on the screen so that just gives amazing experience in city and highway and in traffic. I am always scared to change lane in India so that is a big good deal for me to buy this car that feels me safe during turning and changing lane big plus point for me. Headlights that also gives good looks from the front that is amazing and gearbox that is also nice and good looking amazing seats are also available that is really good for my family and friends. ?? A disappointing thing that is just only one thing that the price of the top model that should be lower 1.5lakh. because Indians will go for Compact SUV in this price.

This car is the best in this range. Safety feature which is must be fulfilled in all cars, and in Civic is designed in keeping all safety feature in mind. But the service and spare part are quite costly, but the brand Honda has great quality and assurance so in front of quality, cost not matters.

I bought a Honda Civic in 2009. The odometer shows 87000kms. Just got the car serviced every 4 months. Changed brake pads twice. No other repair bill.

This is a car of passionate lovers for Honda, the car gives you a feeling of a king on the road and the cockpit feeling with the humongous dashboard. I wanted a car which is under 20 lacks and which is fast petrol Saloon, Thankfully I got to buy a Civic in 2012. Overall performance is great, gets from 0 to 100 in 9.5 seconds, thanks to the IV Tech engine. pickup is great for overtaking any car with a breeze. The comfort of the car is just as good as accord, spacious comfortable and value for money. A car does not require maintenance as much, timely service and oil change would do. Overall a great car to drive and to keep. Pros- Comfort, Looks, Performance, Maintenance Cons: Mileage, Ground clearance, Need good roads to actually drive it with full enthusiasm due to stiff suspension setup.
