Go for it!

I bought the car in November 2018 and I've driven it for about 4500 KMs both in the city and on highways. The riding experience has been great till now. The ride quality, handling and braking is awesome. I drive in City mode most of the time and the response is great. Once you cross the 2000rpm mark and the turbo kicks in, it really feels great. The power and pickup is very good. It shows current mileage in the city at about 15kmpl. It does feel that the transmission could be a bit smoother, but it's not that big of an issue. The looks and styling of Nexon is outstanding. In my opinion, it's the best looking car in the segment right now. I love the way it stands out among the crowd, especially on those great looking alloy wheels. The build quality of Nexon is no secret. It's built like a tank. It's literally 5 stars in terms of safety and security. The fit and finish is also very good with some very minor issues here and there, though not anything serious. The quality of the materials used is also great. "It doesn't feel like a Tata", said a friend of mine. I've done my first service at the local dealership and the experience with them has been good so far. I've not faced any major issues whatsoever. A few minor ones here and there like one time the front right speaker was making some unwanted noise and I got it checked at the dealership and turns out it was a loose nut inside the driver side door. Other than that, it's been a pretty smooth experience. Pros and Cons: Pros: 1. Great value for money car. 2. The driving experience is great 3. Looks and styling is unmatched 4. The sound system is awesome. 5. Spacious. 6. Build quality is awesome. 7. Safety and security features are superb. 8. Comfortable. Cons: Nothing is perfect and the Nexon is no exception. There are a few cons is this otherwise great car. 1. The touchscreen infotainment system is not the best. It lags a bit sometimes. 2. Android Auto and Apple Car play are not Bluetooth compatible, they only work via USB connection. 3. No in-built Navigation app in the infotainment system. You can use navigation only via Android Auto or Apple Car Play. 4. The transmission system is not that smooth. In the end, I'd say that the pros outweigh the cons by a great extent and if you're planning to buy a new car in this segment, go for the Nexon without any doubts.
