Vitara Bre(eze)za
As it go by name it breezes through all the way cutting the wind. Being the pride owner of this compact SUV, I would like to share my experience. Though from outset it is compact, from inside you feel like you are running a macho, which feels great. On a high level, I would highlight.. - Ergonomically great comfort - Smooth and stable - Decent mileage and Maintenance (as Maruthi is known for) - Better performance inspite of different road conditions Would like to Detail out my view on few sections.. Exterior: Feels like an SUV. Inspired from its bigger sibling, the Suzuki Vitara, it gets a high bonnet with a wide rectangular front grille and swept back headlamps. The front bumper gets a black chunky honeycomb grille and blacked out fog lamps mountings. The top-spec car will get integrated daytime running lamps along with the projector headlamps. Moving over to the side, we can see the square shape, contrast coloured roof, flared wheel arches and wrap around tail lamps. The rear section is relatively simple, it has a silver bash plate, spoiler and light guides and gets a hatch opening boot-lid Interior: There is nothing to write home about the interior and the Brezza's cabin is as conventional as it comes. The dashboard is minimalist and wish Maruti employed some chunky knobs or other bits to compliment the exterior. The familiar CarPlay enabled touchscreen dominates proceedings has a high-quality display and feels very modern. Plastic quality and fit and finish though decent is not as nice as the bigger Creta. There are many bits shared with the cheaper Swift too, like the power window switches, steering wheel, stalks etc. Driving comfort: Post 2000rpm , the engine really awakens and the strong mid-range makes driving effortless. The motor feels free revving too but past 4000rpm power starts to tail off and there is no point stretching it to its 5200rpm redline as the engine becomes really vocal. Maruti has also employed shorter gear ratios as compared to the Ciaz to aid drivability. 100kph is reached in a brisk 12.7 seconds and even its in-gear times of 12.87 seconds for 20-80kph in third and 15.98seconds for 40-100kph in fourth are quite impressive too. The short throw gearbox though could have been a bit smoother in operation. On an overall note Maruti Vitara brezza is my charm:)
