I have been Driving Mahindra Scorpio (S11 Diesel Manual) since September 2023 and it has never disappointed me. Scorpio is probably Mahindra's biggest release ever and it's for a reason. The Car is comfortable, drives smoothly and has a Decent Build Quality. I have discussed the Car's Statistics in two Sections. A - Performance Stats I usually drive the car in city where the traffic is congested. The car performs very well, offers great Comfort and I experience easy driving. I have got average to high Mileage from the car in cities. Driving at around 40-55km/hr, the car produces a mileage of around 13.7-14.8kmpl(personal recording) which is decent for a Diesel Manual car. More mileage can be expected based of driving patterns. The Acceleration of Scorpio is quite laggy and I find it slow (0-60 in ~6 seconds and 0-100 in ~15 seconds). On Highways, I drive the Scorpio at 70-90km/hr and I face an issue of Vibration. The Suspension and Balance is a little below Average for a 17 Lakh Rupees Car! The Car jitters at High speeds and lane switching becomes a struggle. I recommend switching lanes at lower speeds on Highways. The Gear of the Car is decent and has good Engine Response. The car has Manual Transmission in all the Varients which make the car reach 40-100 km/hr in the 4th Gear. On Highways, the mileage at High speeds(<70km/hr) gets a surge than the mileage in city at around 14.8-15.6kmpl(personally recorded on Srinagar-Delhi Highway). What I miss in the car is a 4WD feature which is quite compatible with Scorpio's 2.2L 130bhp mHawk Engine. B - Handsome Looks and Features Almost every Car-Lover appreciates the Bold, Bossy look of the Scorpio including me. The Build Quality of the car is superb, the Alloy Wheels are of a perfect match with the Body of the car. I own a 7-Seater varient but you can opt for a 9-Seater varient which has Pilot Seats and they are absolutely Amazing! The Car has excellent Safety Features which are everyone's first priority. The car also has many Features for Entertainment, especially the 22.8cm Touch Screen Infotainment System. But, it feels a bit slow and has a late touch response time. One Major missing of a ?17,00,000/- Scorpio is a Sunroof. I mean, even Hatchback are getting a Sunroof. But, I believe Mahindra has done this to increase the Durability of the Car. Speakers are also Great, The Air Conditioning works very well. In Conclusion, If you have a budget in Scorpio's Range, you can go for it. Personally, I love my Scorpio.
