The solution for TATAs

This is in general for TATA Motors and not specifically for this model Tigor.Today, it is imperative that TATA improves its product quality. Today most of the model line ups sold under TATA Motors badge is not anywhere near the Chinese, forget the Japanese brands. So ideally if TATA Motors as a brand has to stand it has to get serious about product quality. To do this, as a lay man I could suggest them to head hunt and employ Japanese Engineers as bosses of production team in all plants. They already have Jaguar / Range Rover brand but right now i don't suggest them to employ those guys here. Let that be seperate. First get the TATA Motors brand to compete well with Chinese / Japanese. (In doing so, all care should be taken to ensure that the prices are 30% less than Japanese brands like Toyota/Nissan/Mitsubishi/Honda. This is because the advantage of availability of cheap Indian labor should be passed on to the product price to make it competitive while competing with Japanese/chinese brands ). If above is done with strong DNM, trust me TATA would never look back again.
