Minor issues, but a great day to day car

Got my Petrol XZ without alloy wheels(as I and wifey didn't like the stock alloys). Outsourced insurance and alloys and got the on road price of 5,98,000, with extended warranty, AMC not included. Alloys outside costed me 20K. Interior as well as exterior quality is superb. Handling is great as well. Noise is well within limits with the windows closed. Sound system is absolutely fantastic. Its better than mainstream hatchbacks (swift etc). Parking sensors work well, storage is sufficient for a nuclear family. Steering is responsive and doesn't feel light at any speed. 1 Problem that I faced was the pick up in second gear could have been better, when you have stepped down from third gear. I am not an expert to use the technical terms, but the pick up offered when shifted down to second gear is much lesser that when when shifted up from first gear. I might be at fault for pulling the car up in wrong gear, but felt this issue twice and I think if the car is moving, second gear should be used to pick up. Its my first car, so cannot comment if this is a common behavior either. Other than this, absolutely no issues whatsoever. I am so glad I selected this car over swift and I10, for 1 lakh extra with lesser features. Great going Tata. Regards.
