As the passing of time, new SUVs are emerging in the land of India. And at this point of time, Tata Motors has launched its new mid-range SUV which is based on the Landrover Discovery platform. Talking about the design, Tata has done a spectacular job in every aspect. The new DRL s look very futuristic. It's tail lamps looks very similar to an aggressive jaguar car. The overall design of the car looks absolutely fabulous and futuristic. The only thing about the design which I didn't like is alloys of the wheel. But other than that, you won't be able to put a red mark in the design aspect. Now talking about the interior, it feels absolutely like you are sitting in a premium segment SUV. Tata has not compromised in a single field and at this price segment, the interior is incredible. The only thing which is lacking, its rivals do provide is a sunroof which was there in the H5X on which this car is based on. The rear seats are also very comfortable and are a very nice place to be in. It has decent legroom, good headroom and the seat upholstery also fees very comfortably. Now coming to the engine, it is powered by a 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine which produces a power of 140 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The same engine pushes its rival, the Jeep Compass. Currently, the company is offering a 6-speed manual gearbox which sends the power to the front wheels. It also comes with various driving modes ( city, economy, sports) and the best thing which I found in this car is the way the car absorbs all the shock's delivered by the road. In the end, I would love that tata has done really a wonderful job in this car keeping aside a few very minor cons and all the best to Tata Motors
