A pleasurable, easy to drive and a family Car
Honda City is a car that has stood the test of time. And the reliability of a Japanese engine made it an easy choice for buying. We bought ours (2016 VX (Option) Petrol Manual Transmission) from Ace Honda in Noida. PROS - (1) Nice, minimalistic and yet elegant design. (2) Easy to Drive with a feather-like steering and great responsiveness. (3) Good mileage ranging up-to 17 - 18 KMPL on highways. (4) Comfortable and spacious from inside with good leg space for the rear seats. (5) Large boot space of 510L for long trips or extensive grocery shopping, etc. (6) The petrol engine is really smooth, responsive and silent, so much so that when the car is not moving and with windows rolled up, you sometimes do not even feel that the engine is on. CONS : (1) Low ground clearance (true for most sedans) of 165 MM, so may hit sharp bumps and in uneven rural roads. (2) The touchscreen is sometimes not that responsive (greatly improved in the late 2017 model). (3) No front passenger seat belt open indicator. (4) A little low on tech compared to its Korean cousins, true of most Japanese cars, but build quality is superior. Maintenance and Servicing - Honda after-sales service is good with regular reminders (service every 6 months after the first 6 months) from the dealership (sometimes they overdo it) and relatively inexpensive maintenance compared to European cars. May vary between 4000 to 8000 for minor and major services. The Honda Assure policy is good coverage.

- City 4th Gen Looks Got WorseHonda City 4th Gen looks got worse. I was very much fond of Honda City looks and design since my childhood, but now they have degraded the looks and appearance. Nevertheless, they have made some new and advanced features along with premium interior and ventilated seat. The dashboard and instrument cluster looks more defining and aesthetic. - Segment KingHonda City is one the best sedan in its segment. CVT engines are so smooth, reliable, and low maintenance with a good average. you can trust this car. No worries on long trips this car handles well. Pros: a relaxing ride Excellent engine Interior and exterior views of the boot compartment Cons: When the vehicle is locked, the rearview mirrors can be closed automatically.
