My brother owns a Ford Aspire Tdci 2018. He is a journalist does most of his commuting on his bike leaving the aspire at home. So I've covered around 15000kms in the car and I think I'm eligible enough to write a review. Let's start with the engine. The engine is a 4 cylinder turbocharged diesel producing around 100 bhp and 215 nm of torque. This engine is a gem to drive. After you pass the lag below 1500rpm this engine lunges forward picking up pace with such ease. It is mated to a 5-speed manual. The clutch is light and the gear shifts are smooth. Overtaking on highways is never a problem, although you'll have to work that gearbox in city traffic. The combined mileage is around 16 to 20kmpl depending on how you drive. Now coming to the safety, this comes with 2 airbags, ABS, EBD as standard. The top end titanium model gets 6 airbags and a bit more features. The interiors are beige and black but trust me those beige seats are readily taking dirt or any other thing easily and becomes creepy. It is better if you put on seat covers. The seats are decent and comfortable, the rear seat gets an armrest though which is quite comfortable. The seating is low. The AC works pretty fine so does the music system. Headlamps are conventional and are a bit bummer while night driving. If handling and drivability and practicality is your preference you can blindly place your bet on the this.No car in this segment drives better than this.
