Red alert: If u consider a car for a ride please don't choose Renault captur. Bought a car on 25Jan 2019. Already went for Engine Replacement (Yet to be updated by TVS and its already been more than 4months now) and multiple sensor failures. Complained to Renault regarding the matters, and they will only try to protect the dealer, not the customer. Once a car is purchased it becomes your sole responsibility and luck. Trivandrum Renault is the worst they told me: Quote:” Without an updated RC book you can drive a car, Even without insurance.” My car had airbag issues that I went for rectification on 28 May 2019. The same problem again raised on 9 June 2019. The customer executive came home and told: Quote:” There is no issue driving the car If in case of an accident the airbag won't work." I went for a repair and car was delivered with a leaking High-pressure pipe to the injector. I asked for the same, and they don't have any explanation. They will not even spare a single penny from their pocket but the customers have to bear all the losses that they are not even concerned. #Ban Renault. If u are a customer with Renault please check your service records in My Renault app then you will come to know each and every record will be cooked up. They want sales, but after sales, what they want is the customer to be dead.

This is one of the best SUV cars I have ever ride. the car gives you a super comfy and the engine is just awesome; fuel service is just mind-blowing; AC is just awesome because of its efficiency; Suspension is highly comfortable; too much space in the car;4 people can easily sit there; not only space but also the boot space is too much; 6 large traveler can be fitted there; sound system is just awesome; I'm highly satisfied after buying this car. Go for it without any doubt.

I have taken a test ride of the car nearly 10 times and purchased RXT DIESEL recently. This car has amazing road presence, high ground clearance, good off-road ability without 4 wheel drive and good features. The reason why it's not selling much because of its pricing, fewer features as compared to rivals, very less resale and poor after sales and service (Service purely depends on how we interact with them its not a deal breaker). It has crossover design which is very stylish but everyone doesn't like as it compared to traditional boxy SUV and also dashboard layout and touch screen not that great but it's good enough. But confidently I can say who passionate about driving they know the value of capture it's a driver's car amazing ride quality and comfort, very good pickup, excellent suspension, sufficient space for five people, good legroom, good storage space and high driving position like real SUV, got 4star rating. Because of its crossover design body roll is almost negligible even at high speeds very stable at cornering as well. The final word who are not looking for resale just go for it will enjoy each and every moment with the Captur it's really Captur your sense. Best all rounder for city, highway and offroading. Its give feel of a sedan as well because of its lengthy dashboard. Comparison: Creta very good car features rich but no offroad ability. Nissan kicks the latest interiors but the same capture platform and pricier. Duster same platform as captur but old. Do remember each and every product has its own pros and cons but finally deciding factor will be your needs and budget one major thing to remember we are purchasing cars not for features list or for entertainment.

What i hold is Captur Platine (picked two weeks after its launch). I am okai with this model, but really pissed of with the media system/ instrument comes installed with this vehicle. I almost drove 54k kilometres, drive is comfortable.. but millage is only 15.5 and not 20+ what company claims. All comfort and pleasure spoils just cos of the sterio system (radio: not powerful to pick FM station, Tele call : hv to scream for the other end to hear, which is actually the sad part on the investment, slow Bluetooth) I had reported these issues over email from the 2nd week of the purchase. After lot yells and tug of war the technical head of the service centre (always gave excuses and never a permanent solution) realised and changed the MIC but problem still exist. The worst part is poor response from the team on this issue. Also the fact that most of the time especially on highways I have to park the vehicle to take my call directly over the phone. Still living with Faulty instrument after paying 14-16 lakhs. What a pitty.. My question to all - if the above issues are not reproducible in other capture vehicles except my vehicle does it mean I have to live with the crap.

I have Captur platine diesel, purchased on 27th Dec 2017. I drove almost 50 thousand kilometers till date. Good vehicle, comfortable to drive. Happy with service and maintenance. However, I would like to bring the following two issues to the public. 1. The deck system of my Captur is of bad quality. 1. Hands-free call feature is too bad 2. Its FM reception capturing power is too bad. Facing this issue since the first week of its purchase. Sorry to say, the service response pertaining to this particular issue is pathetic. Finally, of frustration, I reached on their production office helpdesk through toll free number. Made two conference calls with an action item on the local service centre. Service centre were supposed to contact me for checking the issue and this was their commitment. Nothing happen. Gave 2nd reminder call back with main office helpdesk saying nobody contacted. Got commitment once again. So far I have not got any call from them or the main office. My question is : Is this how you respond to critical calls. Somehow the hardware unit is faulty and the local incharge is pushing out my case and concern saying "since this issue is not reported in any other series, they can't do anything." To all buyers - please check the system before you buy Captur. Cheap quality system.

Yes, I am fully satisfied with my Captur. Excellent performance milage thrilling off-road, hill station drives n usual office trips as well. It's a value for money car. Rear leg space must be increased a little bit when compared to the size of the car. Service network too needs an enhancement.
