Fiat India one of the well-known automaker in the country has rolled out the 2014 version of Linea sedan in car bazaar. The manufacturer is now offering this new model with both petrol and diesel engine options among which, the Fiat Linea T Jet Dynamic is offered as the mid range petrol variant. The company has retained the same 1.4-litre Turbojet petrol engine for this variant that comes with 1368cc displacement capacity and is coupled with a five speed manual gearbox. This mid level variant comes with major cosmetic updates in terms of both interiors and exteriors that gives it a classy look. Inside the cabin, the company has fitted a new dashboard that has a stylish looking central console and redesigned instrument cluster. Coming to the exteriors, this variant comes with a graceful new radiator grille along with restructured front and rear bumpers. The company has used a lot of chrome for the exteriors of this trim that gives it an extravagant look. The manufacturer is offering this mid level petrol variant with advanced features like an automatic AC unit, fire prevention system, an advanced In-Car entertainment system and other sophisticated features.

Exteriors:

This facelifted sedan comes with an eye-catching new style that will certainly steal your attention in the first sight. To start with, the front bumper comes with a distinct new design that has a pair of round shaped fog lights and a wide air intake console. This bumper also comes fitted with a pair of chrome plated strips that gives it an exquisite look to the front profile. In addition to this, the manufacturer has redesigned the front radiator grille and treated it with a lot of chrome. This grille is flanked by the large headlight cluster that comes with the same design like its existing version. On the sides, this variant gets modified exterior mirrors incorporated with side blinkers. The company has painted the ORVM caps with body color, while treating the door handles with chrome. This newly introduced sedan is powered by a four cylinder, 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol power plant that generates 1368cc . The company has designed this engine with a DOHC valve configuration and incorporated it with a Multi-point fuel injection system. It can generate a maximum power of about 112Bhp at 5000rpm, while yielding a peak torque output of about 207Nm at just 2200rpm. The front wheels of this sedan draws the torque output from the engine through a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. This manufacturer claims that this engine is compliant with Bharat Stage IV emission norms and comes with an ability to give away 15 Kmpl under standard conditions.

Braking and Handling:

The front wheels of this variant have been fitted with ventilated disc brakes, whereas its rear wheels have been fitted with solid disc brakes. The company has also installed an advanced anti-lock braking system that enhances the braking mechanism of this sedan. On the other hand, it comes with an advanced power steering system that is highly responsive and offers crisp steering feel irrespective of the speed levels. This front axle of this variant comes fitted with Independent wheel type of suspension system, whereas its rear axle comes fitted with torsion beam type of system. This variant also comes with an integrated CD/MP3 player with BlueMe function along with 4-speakers and support for portable USB devices.

This mid level variant comes with some of the sophisticated protective features that offers good safety to the occupants inside and to the car as well. This sedan comes with an advanced engine immobilizer system with rolling code (FCS) that keeps the vehicle safe from unauthorized access. It also comes with advanced features like fire prevention system, double crank prevention system and automatic door locking function that ensures proper protection to the passengers. Apart from these, this variant comes with fog lights, dual stage front air bags with early crash sensors, driver seat belt warning, Anti-lock braking system and other advanced features .
