EXPENSIVE in Bangalore, EXTREMELY ARROGANT and MISBEHAVING SALES STAFF, Okay looks and features

I had a tough day test driving a Cruze today. As soon as I saw the car, I tried to compare it with a Civic (find it the closest match in terms of look and segment). I felt Civic looks much more elegant externally. I wasn't pleased with the single tone gray leather interior as we have now got used to dual tone interior. Sun roof looked good with sliding cover. However let me clarify that while looking to buy a car, I am test driving cars right through B+ till D segment and comparing their features, comfort, and refinement while evaluating value for money. Based on these parameters, I was not at all impressed with the LTZ variant's On-road price tag of Rs. 16+ Lac in Bangalore. I was frank with the sales executive who brought the vehicle, comparing each feature and performance with vehicles from other and same segments. The car he had brought was showing a computed overall mileage figure of 9.9kmpl. Was not very pleased with the figure. Getting in the car: Was happy to know that you just need to touch a sensor on the driver door handle to lock the car (barring the need for using the remote or the key to open the door). Sales person Arun suggested that this feature essentially locks the car after you get out and touch the door (or someone wants to open it other than you). However this feature, he suggested would work only if you have the key nearby (could not understand the real use). Got inside the car by unlocking through the key, seat was reasonably comfortable, however, was not impressed by the push button start button (keyless operation, any buyers). I am quite used to using the keys now that I personally feel more comfortable entering the key and turning it round to start the vehicle. Anyway, started the car, noticed that the clutch lever caries some of the engine vibration inside the car (was surprised, that the clutch do not use the drive by wire technology as used in the likes of Swift/Dzire, SX4, Fiesta, etc. Clutch was eventually harder than the modern petrol vehicles. Test drive car had alignment issue! Cant understand why Chevy could not maintain their test drive vehicles down to such basic issues. Right wheel had some rattling sound like some bush or brake canister component was loose! When discussed such issues with the sales executive, he just suggested that it is expected out of a test drive vehicle! (listeners, waddaya feel???) Anyway, moved the vehicle to test it in a long Kanakapura Road with mixed road conditions and cornering opportunities. Talking about the features, I could not stop myself from comparing with those in the likes of Xylo, Manza, Scorpios (some of these car has the same of more of these Gizmos). Driving experience: I felt reasonably comfortable driving the car, but was still annoyed with the pricing of the car in Bangalore. The suspension was reasonably balanced for rough and high speed driving. Tires seemed the same JK Vectra Tyres found in SX4 ZXI (not very impressed with the choice in a D segment car??). Could not test much beyond this point due to the below amusing part: Sales Executive Arun was quite annoyed when I kept comparing the car with those from the lower segment cars!! He suggested if I had really checked on the features of Cruze before requesting a test drive (what type of question was that?? excuse me!). Nevertheless, I kept driving along to test all the features of the car. Still I was unable to stop thinking about the price tag, as I felt that while Laura had less powered engine (TDI), I felt its performance comparable to that of the Cruze (plus I really liked the looks of Laura and Civic - both inside out, even when these vehicles do not have some of the Gizmos like Rain sensor, Air Quality Monitor - I like this feature in Cruze like in Petrol Elantra). However, at this price tag, I felt that the AC should have an air filtering unit like the plasma ionizers we get these days in our home ACs, Clutch should have been hydraulic drive by wire like in Swift, Headlamps should have been Xenon like in Laura and last but not the least, looks! I feel the looks of Laura and Civic are far superior (both inside and outside). Rear suspension, not independent like in Civic. Center dashboard was hitting my knees making me remember good old Alto, talk of legroom.. When requested the sales executive to justify the price tag, he got extremely annoyed and asked me to go for an Indica instead (he seemed to be an under prepared, extremely arrogant sales person). I lost my cool this time and requested him not to suggest a car as I know quite well on how to evaluate the cars. He got more annoyed and quite surprisingly started a BIG argument that I am comparing Cruze with the lower segment cars and INSULTING HIM!!! Boy I lost it completely this time, took an immediate U turn and headed straight to my home. Afterwards it was my wife sitting on the back seat trying to contain such egoistic, arrogant and misbehaving sales staff I EVER COME across!! (Did you, ever?). When I suggested that I am talking about the vehicle and when did I insult him, he suggested that he has never come across a customer who criticize the car to such an extent and he has sold 25 cars in a month (big deal, can someone figure out what was going on his mind when I was honestly comparing the car with others?). Seriously, there were quite a lot of heated arguments there on and my wife and my daughter had to listen to the music till we reached home. Have to report this issue and escalate it to the top management and ask for clarification on the grounds they hire such misbehaving staff (that too sales, for a D segment car like their flagship Cruze). This person was asking me Do you know who I am? like he was the CEO of Chevy (GM, baby, now I am having a feeling for you on how you lost it all, globally). Comments, welcome. Enjoy the ride..

      Legend Sedan
Chevrolet's Cruze is technically updated, the best sedan in India under 17 lakh of range. The design given to this car especially from side is awesome, and it gives a luxurious feeling. It is a very sublime car with great features that help me to have a confidential and trustworthy drive. It is a very comfortable car, and is really spacious especially for passengers who sit behind and the extra rear air vents given to the rear passengers is something heavenly as it gives quick relief from the heat in summers, I would say it is a family friendly car and feels like almost giving priority to everyone. It is very energetic and zestful car which gives smooth driving and have great pickup, especially when overtaking heavy vehicles on highways which are something necessary for Indian type of driving. It is also equipped with many safety features like ABS, brake assist, driver and passenger airbags, seatbelt warning, and under 17 lakh price is something great by Chevrolet. Electrically adjusted side mirrors are great, especially in traffic areas. It is a magnificent car with so many features, buying the Cruze is worth your money.

      My Favorite Sedan
The Cruze is a seriously smooth car, from its slippery shape to the way its doors shut. In large part, Cruz's smoothness is derived from its impeccably compliant suspension. In car terms, it is refined. And the Cruze doesn't come much more so than the mid-grade LT tested here, with the automatic transmission and 16-inch wheels. The available premier model with the largest wheels available (18-inchers) may be less smooth, while the base Cruze L with its 15-inch tires and their taller sidewalls may be smoother still. Yet cut the lineup down the middle and you're still talking baby-bottom smooth. And the environment works even better than it looks, with the touchscreen running Chevrolet's easy-to-use MyLink infotainment menu and the hard-button controls operating with a well-damped smoothness. Usefulness abounds: There are storage cubbies in the doors, a stash spot for a phone ahead of the shifter, and a total of six cupholders. The front centre armrest slides fore and aft. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration are built-in, and when an iPhone is hooked up using a USB cable, the driver can call out Siri commands or manage music selections via the touch screen or a secondary display in the gauge cluster using a steering-wheel control pad. (The same goes for an Android phone, albeit with Google, not Siri, as the personal assistant.) Yes, GM's 4G LTE data connection and a Wi-Fi hotspot are standard, and, yes, we used both to send some emails while stopped on the side of the road.

      Cruze Up Your Life
Chevrolet Cruze is the best car, though I have a diesel variant but power is massive. And there are no complaints with its look its just amazing I love this car very much also this car has all features that a luxury car should have. Not only for the city this car is also awesome for long highways trips. As exteriors of this car are amazing you will be pleased to see the interiors too. My car variant is LTZ and I bought this car in mid-April 2012. The day I bought it I came to know I have got a beast in my family it's that much cool. And by driving this car you will never loose your cool. This is a little bit expensive car it cost me around 14 lakh including with extra accessories cost. Also, mileage of this car is not up to mark in cities you will get hardly up to 10kmpl and on highways, max I got was 12-15 l. Yes, it really an expensive car tough its looks, the engine makes all those expensive costs disappear. I love this car and love to drive it, it's very convenient and cool. This is a sedan car so it's quite big maybe it will be difficult for old peoples to drive. Now in 2016 model company has facelifted this car I know it now not that much cooler than its earlier generation but still, this car gets many new things like LED daytime running lights a new tuned up engine though this car comes only in the diesel engine as this car has a massive power and to drive this massive beast you need much power so that power is obtained with diesel. This car has an electrically adjustable mirror with turn indicators also cabin space is amazing you will definitely love this car now about some interiors this car has a powerful AC which cools the cabin in just a few seconds with an ease it will make the cabin a chiller place even in hot temperatures. This car comes with 4 speakers and tweeters that amazing and cool now in this variant you can adjust headlights and all. This car does come with its special intelligence technology and rear view camera in top end variants this car has a powerful interior and telephone controls mounted on steering wheels so if you got a call on busy roads or on highways don't worry now you can pick that important call with just a button. This car has a keyless option too and the top end variant comes with an electric sunroof. Cruze comes with a massive thrilling 1998 cc of the engine it's just amazing that means now on highways you can drive like a squid but is save so this car comes with a side and front airbags and ABS so you don't have to worry about its safety it's just amazing. I truly recommend to all who so ever have a budget around 10-18 lakh I will recommend buying this massive beast it's just insane you will also be loved it like I and most of its owners love.

      Awesome And Recommanded To All
I bought the Chevrolet Cruze 1 year back. I was a little bit confused with the budget but my parents/relatives insist me for this car and I am damn happy now with the performance of this car. You will really get shocked when you see the pick-up of this car and interiors like you sit in a cockpit. Also, it's a rumour that Cruze's maintenance is very high but believe me guys, It's not. When we talk about the exterior of this car, It gives you a spotlight when you go somewhere. I would also recommend to all for LTZ variant as there is no major difference between variants and LTZ is the top model. As far as concern, car service cost, it's around 6-7k per service on 10k km or 6 months (Which ever comes first) so I don't think that If you are able to buy this fantastic car then it's not a big deal. My final conclusion is that if you are thinking about comfort, look & speed, you must go for it. Go for it guys. 100% recommended.

My dream car which i always loved
I love Chevrolet car I always look into that in all site of second-hand cars. my first car is Aveo in the year of 2006, which was giving me not less than 18 km per ltr and the road grip is excellet. I have covered 1080 km from Mumbai to Mangalore. started at morning 7.30 am from mumbai and reached mangalore at 9 pm in 1 stop for food and filling gas. After aveo I had taken Optra which is a superb car. It has a very good average. I used to drive at 140 km speed to 160 km speed per hour and also 1 year I have not filled coolant but every 10 thousand km I used to change oil and filters I have covered 1 lakh km twice I had changed brake pads and once I did a clutch work, suspension are superb. Now I am planning to buy Cruze I feel that A high standard car.

      Cruze On
I own the Cruze 2012 model. Power is now up to a substantial 164bhp with the torque swelling to a meaty 38.7kgm. The primary focus of the engine tweak has been to improve driveability, refinement and fuel efficiency. Upshifts are relatively quick and make the acceleration seem all the more effortless. That said, it isn't particularly engaging. It is still slow to respond to sharp throttle inputs and is sluggish when you want a quick kick down. This means that the new Cruze is still some way off the fit and finish that its German rivals boast of, and for sheer comfort, especially at the rear, the Cruze still can't compete with the best in class.
