X1 is a lovely car, especially if speed is something that your prefer. Though it is minimalistic in appearance comparing with X3 and X5 but it packs a power punch. Wonderful on the gearshift and so nicely glued to the road even on high speed. It gives a feeling of SUV (i would consider it little less on the ground clearance for the offroading experience), it had fair space for the passenger on the back seat, the boat space is also in abundance making it a car for short as well as long distance. I get an average of 18-19 kmpl on the highway and 16-17 km in the city condition. interiors are great, giving a great finishing to the dashboard. Few drawbacks 1)The car doesn't have a rear AC vent for the passengers at the back seat. It is almost inevitable in the scorching heat during summers to survive without AC and the AC in the front doesn't provide as much a cooling as it would have been if vents were on the back. 2) The 5th tire which BMW doesn't provides of. BMW gives a run flat tyre with this car. Considering Indian road I guess, it is important to provide 5th tire instead of run flat tyres. 3) Little less on the ground clearance. Rest the car is great overall no real problem.
