Back in 2016, I was searching for a premium sedan for about Rs. 60 lakhs and fortunately I stumbled upon Audi A6. My friend also told me about other options such as Mercedes Benz E-Class and BMW 5-series, but I lost my heart and mind to this car when I first saw it. The A6 Matrix isn?t radically different from the standard models but it does look sharper and slightly distinct when you inspect it closely. The front fascia has been designed to look sharp and sleek with new single-frame grille and of course, the Matrix headlights which is the main highlight of the car. The adaptive high-beam LED headlights comprises of 19 small light-emitting diodes that can be switched on and off as per need. As Audi makes some of the best interiors in the business, the car is adorned with classy looking un-veneered wood trim with customization for leather colours too. What really impressed me up to the core is the latest MMI touchscreen infotainment unit which plays music from the 10 GB hard drive connected to Bose 5.1 600w 14-speaker sound system. The front seats are electrically adjustable with 2 different memory settings. The carmaker has also provided 4 different driving modes for the best possible driving experience. Another talking point of the car is the solid safety net it provides including 8 airbags, ABS, tyre pressure monitoring system, traction control and host of electronic aids including Audi pre-sense' anticipatory safety function featuring a video camera and radar sensors. Overall, the Audi A6 has been designed to take people from point A to point B in style, luxury, comfortable and safe manner. And given the features it offers, it is competitive buy as well.
