Maruti Swift

Maruti Swift has always been the segment leader since its launch, therefore, I decided to buy the all-new 2018 swift and have driven it 22000 KMS till now. My experience of the car is as follows: Cons- 1.steering lacks feedback, it doesn't give confidence on high speeds and twisty roads. 2. Engine noise is high for the petrol variant. 3. The car feels underweight on high speeds. 4. The visibility at the rear seats is not good because of the grab handles now shifted at the C pillars. 5. Gears are a little jerky. It has some pros also, such as: 1. Comfort and cushioning of the seats are amazing. You won't feel tired on long journeys. 2. Fuel economy in the city is 16 to 18 KMPL and on the highways, it is 21 to 22 KMPL 3. Suspension- small potholes and bad roads would not enter the cabin easily. 4. Chilled AC. Cabin cools easily even on the hottest days. 5.Maintenance- The service costs you approx 9000 rs with the full synthetic engine oil option and you can drive it for another 10000 KMS totally hassle-free. Overall verdict. It is still the best car in its segment with the only competitor lying within the same table, i.e Baleno because of a very little difference in price.
