Datsun GO Plus Good MPV with A Few Weak Points

I and my family for a very long time were looking for a car. We were searching for a big car that is spacious and comfortable and can accommodate at least 7 to 8 members at once. But due to our low budget, we could not afford the big brand models. So, we started looking for the budget MPVs and we came across the most affordable Datsun GO Plus. As it's a Nissan brand I totally trust the vehicle. I opted for Datsun GO Plus T model that costs me around Rs. 5.5 lakh. So, at last Datsun GO Plus was at my doorstep. We all went for a trip to Delhi and I must say the car offers amazing drivability at such an affordable price tag. I think this car has been unnecessary demonized. The car is quite spacious inside and on the outside, it carries the eye catchy appeal. Datsun engineers have done an exceptional job by extending the hatchback, it gets well-proportioned looks. The exteriors styling is simple, inoffensive and modest. Datsun GO Plus is evidently a variation of the GO hatchback. The car gets D-cut grille with the familiar set of sweptback headlamps and wide windshield. On the sides, it?s where you finally notice that it's an MPV. The only difference between the GO and GO+ is the extra 210mm of length. What really draws the attention is the big wheels that go well with the MPV. At the back, Datsun GO Plus gets the large rear bumper, the tailgate is quite light and tiny. Step inside and you will surely notice the same design cues as seen in GO hatchback. The dashboard is very simple, AC vents are circular, the car also gets power windows and manual central locking system. The car gets 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and is quite responsive. For the safety, Datsun GO + gets ABS, EBD, BA, follow me headlamps and parking sensors. Under the hood, Datsun GO + is powered by the 1.2L petrol mill that comes with 5-speed manual gearbox. On the negative note, Datsun GO Plus lacks proper storage space, rear AC vents are missing, audio quality needs improvement and the NVH levels are quite high that feels very bad. Overall experience with GO + is quite satisfying and I do suggest the budget oriented buyers to go for the one if they are ready to ignore a few cons.
