Yes, Tata has relaunched the Tiago NRG, the crossover version of the standard facelifted Tiago that was launched in January 2020 in a facelifted avatar. The 2021 Tiago NRG is based on the XZ trim of the standard Tiago and costs Rs 23,000 more. While it has identical width (1,677mm) and wheelbase (2,400mm) as the regular hatchback, its length ( 37mm), height ( 2mm), and ground clearance ( 11mm) have increased due to the addition of the front and rear faux skid plates and roof rails (non-functional). The facelifted Tiago NRG is powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine (86PS/113Nm) that’s offered on the standard model. This unit comes coupled with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. On the inside, the facelifted Tiago NRG doesn’t get any orange highlights like the pre-facelift NRG, instead opting for an all-black cabin layout. The 2021 Tiago NRG has only one direct rival in the form of the Maruti Celerio X. Deliveries are already underway.
