I bought the Hyundai i20 Sportz on Dec 18, It is the best car in the premium hatchback class. Great look and easily surpasses rivals in looks and performance. I get a mileage of 14 KMPL in city and 16 on highways. Excellent noise isolation, once the doors are closed you will hear nothing even from engine. Sometimes I used to get a doubt whether the engine is on or not. On negative side, the car demands best driving practices, if it is driven harshly, the engine easily becomes noisy and may get damaged. The car better performs when the gears are changed as indicated in the dashboard gear shift indicator. Hyundai i20 cannot be driven in half clutch as the breaks will not apply and may cause accidents. Due to smart pedal system, when breaks and throttle pressed simultaneously, breaks gets applied making it difficult to climb when it stops in between. The interiors feel one class above, seat ergonomics and rear AC vents are deal breakers. Overall, with its killing looks it is the best car one can own under 8 lakhs.
