Ths Skoda Superb Facelift is expected to be offered with a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre petrol engine. This unit is capable of producing 192PS of power and 320Nm of torque and will come paired to a 7-speed DSG transmission option. There won’t be a Superb diesel (at least in 2020) on offer as Skoda Auto Volkswagen India is planning to ditch diesel engines for the short term. You may set an alert for its launch also.
The claimed fuel efficiency of Skoda Superb is 18.19kmpl, 14.12kmpl and 14.67 for its diesel(AT), petrol(MT) and petrol (AT) variants respectively. Though the car is insulated is very well and you get a smooth driving experience in both petrol as well as in diesel but the petrol engine is more refined as compared to diesel variants. The resales value would depend on several factors like the number of Km driven, no. of owners, insurance claimed, the physical condition of the car, age of the car etc. keep it well maintained to get its best resale value.
As of now, the brand has not updated with the dates but Skoda Superb facelift has been spotted undergoing tests in Indian conditions so we can expect the car soon on roads. Moreover, we would suggest you to wait for the official announcement.
