Hyundai i20 Active Review
Hyundai has tasted quite a bit of success with the launch of the Elite i20 in India and has now introduced a crossover based on this hatchback. The i20 Active is one amongst the horde of compact crossovers and SUVs in the Indian market. With the launch of this crossover, Hyundai plans to increase their market share and improve the domestic volumes. Hyundai has powered the i20 Active with the same engine options, 1.2-litre Kappa petrol and 1.4-litre CRDi diesel, which power the i20 hatchback. While the 1.2-litre petrol motor churns out 82bhp of power and 114Nm of torque, the 1.4-litre diesel mill produces 89bhp of power and 220Nm of torque. The former comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, while the latter comes paired to a six-speed manual gearbox. ABS with EBD has been introduced as standard fitment with the model year 2016.
