Creta Review

Like everyone, eager to purchase I bought Passion Red Colour Hyundai Creta VTVT SX+ Model in Aug, 2015. No doubt the car sold like hot cakes and one of the lead selling SUVs now days. I drove the car approx 10,000 KMs as of now, keeping aside the mileage numbers, it gives good performance in cities and on highways as well in terms of smoothness and drivability. City Mileage is approx 10 per Litre (with AC on) and on highways its 13 (with AC on) per litre. This car gives pleasure of SUV whereas it as easy as driving a Sedan. Projector Headlamps, LED Lights and good interior makes it look much better than other cars of this category. Also, seats (Both first row & second row) are more comfortable in comparison to others. 1. Renault Duster - Old school looks, seats are not comfortable. Missing - Projector Headlamps, LED Lights and interior is not that good. 2. Ford Ecosport - Not as spacious as Creta, justified as it is lesser than 4 Meter. There best performing engine is too costly for this bracket of cars. Missing Projector Headlamps, LED Lights, Small Boot space. 3. XUV 500 - Top Model (Not available in Petrol as of now) is too costly then Top Model of Creta (Petrol). Spacious enough, justified as they offer third row seating as well. As per my friend's reviews, it has good features but needs high maintenance. 4. Honda BR-V - (Launched Lately but came to know about it before) It looks like revamping of Mobilio. Creta is much heavier steel body than Mobilio. Third row is good enough for children but not comfortable for adults. Better to buy Maruti Ertiga for that, you can get AMT & Hybrid options in that at lower cost and trustable brand name. Personlly, I liked the space provided in Creta i.e. good legroom and good head room and Projector Head Lamps which make the car beautiful from fornt view. Also the interior is very nice much like other Hyundai Models, nicely done. However, I found braking at high speeds a bit difficult. It looks like Brake Pedal is jammed if trying to put brakes on high speeds. Overall a good package made for SUV lovers. Pros - Space, Interior, Projector Head Lamps, Drivability, LED Lamps Cons - Braking at high speed Recently, they have also launched Automatic version in Petrol.
