The looks of the car are impressive as it maintains quite a lot of resemblance with Mahindra Xylo and Mahindra XUV 500. The Mahindra Quanto C2 is facing a major competition with Maruti Ertiga that has captured the MPV segment. Under the hood, Mahindra Quanto C2 is blessed with a 1.5 litre of mCR100 common rail diesel engine that abides by the BS IV norms. Braking and Handling

Mahindra Quanto C2 is no different from other SUVs in the market when it comes to the braking and handling department. The brakes here comprise of disc brakes on the front along with drum brakes for the rear. The handling of the car is taking to a next level with a good suspension system. The front axle comprise of independent double wishbone coil springs with anti roll bar. On the other hand, the rear axle has five bar link coil springs type of suspension. The power and tilt steering functions very smoothly that provides a good handling and control to the driver and helps him to glide through heavy traffic conditions with utmost ease and comfort.

Safety features

The safety department of Mahindra Quanto C2 is not very sound. The Mahindra Quanto C2 is the base variant therefore, it doesn't feature any high class safety features, but is does come with the basic ones. The body structure of the car is very strong and keeps the ability to absorb high force in case of any accident or collision. The seat belts are provided for all the passengers. It also has child door lock on the middle and rear doors and digital immobilizer . If you are looking for anti lock braking system, dual airbags, fog lamps, rear wash and wiper and intelli-park reverse assist, then this variant is not for you. For that case, you have to make your budget a bit higher and go for the top end trim of the car, called Mahindra Quanto C8.
