Overall the car has good built quality, but there is a lot of body roll and the engine feels a little underpowered. At this price point, the car should be very smooth which is not the case in Fortuner. Having owned all generation of this car, since it is the undisputed king in terms of resale, service cost, road presence etc. it is still preferable but misses out on a lot of features.
