Honda City V Cvt Petrol I previously had a VW Polo. To be honest I was very happy with the build of German cars and never had this feeling of buying a non-german car. People have this misconception as well that German cars are well made and have superb build quality. Yes, it does have all these qualities except the fact that these German cars are suited for German or European style of roads and driving. The service and the cost of maintaining these cars are comparatively higher for all these German cars compared to Japanese counterparts. I guess its a pocket cracker for many Indians for its unreliable sensors and diesel engine reliability issues. So I decided to go for a car that suits Indian roads and average Indian pocket-friendly. So I ended up in shortlisting Suzuki, Honda, Mahindra and Tata. People have this another misconception that the Germans car have superior build quality until you see a TATA car which is both reliable and well built. Now come to Honda city Cvt. I wanted to buy a car that is well built, decent engine, quality service and pocket friendly. I prefer automatic transmission over manual because of the only fact that 70% of my driving will be only in the city. One hand and one leg is free most of the times gives a huge relief for long drives and in the city. If you really want more pleasure in getting out of the best petrol engine, try paddle shift and the engine gives you enough torque. Good for: Ideal for city and long highways. Stress free and well-refined engine Well built Good boot space Rear seat comfort is outstanding Driver seating and positioning is fantastic. Good for long term usage for at least 10 years, in my opinion, Reliable and pocket-friendly Not so good for: People want turbocharged driving pleasure Those who have the budget and not considering the service and cost, go for Skoda blindly. It gives you goosebumps all the time .
