Satisfied with Spark after 4 years

I have been driving my spark for around four years. Overall I am happy with the performance of my car. I must admit that spark is not the bese in any category whether it is apperance or mileage or size or comfort. But overall it is a nice package. Those who have written negative comments seem to have considered only one aspect and jumped into a conclusion. I think one must take a holistic look at the car rather than a selective analysis. What I really like about the car is i. Lowest price ( which means it covers the cost of petrol for several thousand kms comparing with of price of santro) ii. Though it is a small car of 1000 cc, it never made me feel inferior to big cars while driving on highways. The engine is very responsive both in the city and on highways, makes driving a pleasant experience. iii. Good but not the best mileage ( 15 to 18). But as I said earlier, the 50000 rupees saved in the cost of car compensates the little short in mileage. iv. I consider that it looks cute but some may not feel so, but it certainly not a bad looking one like Wagon R. Somebody mentioned in their review that the car starts to give problems after 3 years. It is really surprising because the S-Tech engine of spark is the one used in Matiz, a very reliable engine. We still see matiz cars driven on road, try to ask them about the car, they would say that they love them.  vi. My response to all those who complain about spark is that you need to realize thet every car has its pros and cons. You must also learn about proper car usage and maintanence. There are ways to acieve better mileage by adjusting driving styles.  My conclusion is that you must choose spark if you have a tight budget constraint of 3.5 to 4.0. But If your budget is above 5.0 then consider i10 or swift and avoid spark.
